The Jurnal Sistem Informasi dan Komputer Terapan Indonesia (JSIKTI) was first published in 2018 by the Information Technology, Computer and Sciences Association (INFOTEKS), with the objective of disseminating the latest or recent findings in Information Technology and its related fields.

JSIKTI is published four times annually, March, June, September and December, with e-ISSN: 2655-7290 and p-ISSN: 2655-2183. JSIKTI using Open Journal Systems (OJS), the open source journal management and publishing system, with website address

JSIKTI provides a forum for the full range of scholarly study. JSIKTI scope encompasses data analysis, natural language processing, artificial intelligence, neural networks, pattern recognition, image processing, genetic algorithm, bioinformatics/biomedical applications, biometrical application, content-based multimedia retrievals, augmented reality, virtual reality, information system, game mobile, dan IT bussiness incubation.

The journal publishes original research papers, short communications, and review articles both written in English or Bahasa Indonesia. The paper published in this journal implies that the work described has not been, and will not be published elsewhere, except in abstract, as part of a lecture, review or academic thesis. Paper may be written in English or Indonesian, however paper in English is preferred.

Open Journal Systems (OJS) has been applied for all business process in JSIKTI. Therefore, the authors are required to register in advance and upload the manuscript by online. The process of the manuscript could be monitored through OJS. Authors, readers, editorial board, editors, and peer review could obtain the real time status of the manuscript. JSIKTI's new look and improved quality

In 2019, the journal has adopted a more rigorous publication standard, with a greater focus on article quality. This is reflected in JSIKTI’s stricter submissions policy, with more detailed guidelines and thorough screening of articles, as well as aesthetic changes to the journal to increase readability. This change also brought with it a new, more comprehensive editorial policies, which will guide the direction of JSIKTI into its future as a respected journal in Information Technology. JSIKTI now boasts a modernized approach to academic publication, with a streamlined submission, review, and publication process.

Changes in the appearance of the journal’s articles include the inclusion of the article’s DOI, as well as some changes in the layout. Changes to the author guidelines include alterations in article structure and a new citation style, along with more detailed instructions and a template to guide authors through the manuscript preparation and submission process.


JSIKTI has been currently indexed by indexer institutions such as: Dimensions Analytics (Dimensions), WorldCat libraries (WorldCat), Crossref, Directory Of Open Access Scholarly Resources (ROAD), Google Scholar and other citation databases of peer-reviewed scientific literature.

Digital Archiving

This journal utilizes the Indonesia One Search (IOS) and Indonesian Publication Index (IPI) system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
